Remember this? Our rusty/red kitchen? I've been wanting to get rid of it since we bought the house. We have finally gotten around to selecting colors for our first floor (it's so open that we really want it to feel cohesive and not have too many different shades going on).
Clearly, I like red with my red cookware and accessories. But red on red (or really, red on rust) was overkill.
So Rob got to work (under Brutus' careful supervision).....
And we have our first room painted! Take a look....
We like it so much better; now everything 'pops' against the lighter color. I
forced suggested to Rob that we paint one room each month until we are done with what we want to do. And I got a handshake. ;)
